The Industrial Revolution is described as a time of growth in America and although there are a tremendous amount of positive outcomes the Industrial Revolution brought our country, the dominant narrative fails to include the negative outcomes of the revolution. This toolkit offers a resources for teachers to inform their students about these positive outcomes, while introducing the negative outcomes, such as environmental problems, child labor and urbanization.
